THE PROBLEM
A packed waiting room
With qWisely: Patients join by scanning the QR code at reception. Their place is saved on their phone, so they can wait outside or in their car instead of sitting shoulder to shoulder in the waiting area.
Patients scan a QR code at reception, get a token and see a live wait time on their phone. They can wait in the car, at a nearby café or at home, and come in when their turn is close. Your front desk spends less time answering “how much longer?”.
CHALLENGES WE SOLVE
Packed benches, patients standing in the corridor and a receptionist answering the same question all morning. qWisely moves the waiting off your premises without losing anyone’s place.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: Patients join by scanning the QR code at reception. Their place is saved on their phone, so they can wait outside or in their car instead of sitting shoulder to shoulder in the waiting area.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: Each consultation type has a typical time, so patients see a live position and estimated wait that updates as the doctor moves through the list. The estimate also learns from your clinic’s real consultation times.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: On supported phones, patients can turn on alerts for about 5 minutes before their turn and when they are called, even with the phone locked.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: Add each doctor, room or nurse station as a service point. When a doctor calls the next patient, the patient is told which room to go to. Each doctor can log in and see only their own room.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: “Call now” lets you see any waiting patient out of turn when it’s needed. If a called patient isn’t there, skip them so the next one or two go first. They keep their place in line.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: Show the display board on a TV in the waiting area. It shows the token being seen in each room and plays a chime when a new patient is called, so nobody has to shout names.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: Insights show your busiest hours and days, average waiting time, no-show rate and how long each consultation type really takes. Use them to plan doctor timings and front-desk staff.
STEP-BY-STEP SETUP
Most clinics are ready in a few minutes. Here is what to set up, with example values you can copy and adjust.
Sign up with your email, then enter your clinic’s name and address. Only you and your staff need an account. Patients never do.
Want each doctor to have a separate queue and QR code? Add each doctor as their own business under the same account.
Add one service point for every doctor, room or station that sees one patient at a time. Use names patients will recognise when they’re called.
Is a doctor not in today? Switch their service point off so the wait estimate only counts the doctors who are seeing patients.
Add the visit types patients can choose from. The time is used for wait estimates and the fee is shown to patients before they join. You can leave the fee empty.
| Service | Time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| General consultation | 10 min | ₹400 |
| Follow-up visit | 5 min | ₹200 |
| Specialist consultation | 20 min | ₹800 |
| Vaccination | 5 min | — |
| Dressing / injection | 10 min | ₹150 |
| Report review | 5 min | — |
Insights point out when a visit type usually takes much longer or shorter than the time you set, so you can keep estimates accurate.
From the Team page, add doctors, nurses and reception staff with their own email and password, and choose what each person can do.
Download your QR code and print it for the entrance and reception desk. Optionally, open the display board on a TV in the waiting area.
Doctors can use their phone, and reception can use the front-desk computer.
GOOD TO KNOW
No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and everything works in the browser. They only enter their name, and even that is optional.
No. qWisely only keeps the token, the visit type the patient picked and an optional name. It is a queue, not a patient records system.
Reception adds them as a walk-in from the dashboard. They get a token number in the same queue as everyone else and can watch the display board.
Yes. Use “Call now” on any waiting token to see that patient right away. Everyone else keeps their place.
Not at the moment. qWisely is a live walk-in queue. Patients join when they arrive or when they are on their way.
