CHALLENGES WE SOLVE

The usual counter chaos, solved

A crowd at the counter, a register full of half-legible names, and someone who “was here first” in every argument. qWisely gives every customer a token and a fair place in line.

THE PROBLEM

A paper register nobody can read

With qWisely: Every customer gets a numbered digital token when they scan the QR code. The order is recorded automatically, so there are no arguments about who came first.

THE PROBLEM

Crowding around the counter

With qWisely: Customers can wait anywhere, even outside or at the shop next door. Their phone shows a live position, so nobody needs to hover at the counter to keep their spot.

THE PROBLEM

Quick pickups stuck behind long diagnoses

With qWisely: Give each service its own time. Wait estimates add up the actual services ahead, so a customer collecting a repair sees a realistic wait instead of a guess.

THE PROBLEM

Several counters and technicians

With qWisely: Add each counter or technician as a service point. Whoever is free calls the next customer, and the customer is told which counter to go to.

THE PROBLEM

Customers who step away when called

With qWisely: Skip them so the next one or two customers go first. They stay in line and are notified. After two skips, mark them as a no-show and carry on.

THE PROBLEM

No data on busy days or slow services

With qWisely: Insights show your busiest hours and days, average wait, drop-off rate and how long each service really takes, so you can plan counters and technician shifts.

STEP-BY-STEP SETUP

Set up your service center in six steps

Most service centers are ready in a few minutes. Here is what to set up, with example values for an electronics or appliance service center.

  1. Create your account and add your center

Sign up with your email, then enter your service center’s name and address. Only you and your team need an account. Customers never do.

Several branches? Add each one as its own business under the same account and compare them in insights.

  2. Add your counters and technicians as service points

Add one service point for every counter or technician who can serve a customer at the same time.

Is a counter closed today? Switch it off so wait times only count the counters that are open.

  3. List the reasons customers visit

Add what customers come in for. The time is used for wait estimates. Prices are optional. Leave them empty if the cost depends on the repair.

    ServiceTimePrice
    Drop-off for repair5 min—
    Repair pickup3 min—
    Device diagnosis15 min₹199
    Battery replacement20 min₹1,499
    Software issue20 min₹299
    Warranty claim10 min—

Use short, clear names. Customers pick from this list on their phone.

  4. Give your team their own login

From the Team page, add counter staff and technicians with their own email and password, and choose what each person can do.

    • Counter staff: “Manage queue”, tied to their own counter, so “Call next” sends the customer to them.
    • Front-desk lead: “Manage queue” for the whole center, to add walk-ins and handle skips.
    • Branch manager: “View insights” and “Edit business” for the people who need them.
  5. Put up your QR code and display screen

Print your QR code for the entrance and the counter. Optionally, open the display board on a TV or tablet facing the waiting area.

    • The display board shows each counter’s current token and plays a chime when a customer is called.
    • It also shows the QR code, so new customers can join straight from the screen.
  6. Run your day from the dashboard

Use the dashboard on the counter computer or your phone.

    • “Call next” finishes the current customer and calls the next one to that counter.
    • Add walk-ins for customers without a smartphone, with their name and reason for visiting.
    • Set the center to “On break” at lunch, and “Closed” at the end of the day to stop new joins.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions service centers ask

Do customers need to install an app?

No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and everything works in the browser. No app and no sign-up.

Does qWisely track the status of each repair job?

No. qWisely manages the queue at your counter: drop-offs, pickups and consultations. It doesn’t replace your job card or repair tracking system.

What about customers without a smartphone?

Add them as a walk-in from the dashboard. They get a token number in the same queue and can follow it on the display board.

Can I serve a quick pickup before others?

Yes. Use “Call now” on any waiting token to serve that customer straight away. Everyone else keeps their place.

Can my technicians use their own phones?

Yes. Each team member gets their own login and only sees the service centers you give them access to.
