THE PROBLEM
Long lines at returns and pickup
With qWisely: Customers join by scanning the QR code at the counter. Their place is saved on their phone, so the line moves off the shop floor and the counter area stays clear.
Customers scan a QR code for returns, order pickups, alterations or help at the service desk. They keep shopping while they wait and come to the counter when their turn is close. Your store floor stays clear, and waiting time turns into browsing time.
CHALLENGES WE SOLVE
Sale days, festive seasons and weekends bring long lines at the returns desk and the pickup counter, and customers who give up and leave.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: Customers join by scanning the QR code at the counter. Their place is saved on their phone, so the line moves off the shop floor and the counter area stays clear.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: A live position on their phone lets customers keep browsing while they wait. Time that was spent standing in line turns into time spent in your store.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: Give each request its own time. Wait estimates add up what’s actually ahead, so customers see an honest wait instead of guessing from the length of the line.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: Add each desk or staff member as a service point. When a desk calls the next customer, the customer is told exactly which desk to go to.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: On supported phones, customers can turn on alerts for about 5 minutes before their turn and when it’s their turn. If they still miss it, skip them and they keep their place.
THE PROBLEM
With qWisely: Insights show your busiest hours and days, average wait, drop-off rate and how long each request takes, so you can staff counters for sale days and weekends.
STEP-BY-STEP SETUP
Most stores are ready in a few minutes. Here is a typical setup for returns, pickups and service desks.
Sign up with your email, then enter your store’s name and address. Only you and your staff need an account. Customers never do.
Several stores? Add each one as its own business under the same account and compare them in insights.
Add a service point for every desk or staff member who serves one customer at a time.
Is a desk closed today? Switch it off so wait times only count the desks that are open.
Add the requests customers choose from when they join. The time is used for wait estimates. Prices are optional and shown to customers.
| Service | Time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Online order pickup | 3 min | — |
| Return / exchange | 8 min | — |
| Alterations | 10 min | ₹150 |
| Gift wrapping | 5 min | ₹50 |
| Product demo | 15 min | — |
| Warranty / service request | 10 min | — |
Insights flag requests that usually take much longer or shorter than set, so you can keep estimates accurate.
From the Team page, add counter staff with their own email and password, and choose what each person can do.
Print your QR code for the returns desk, the pickup counter and the store entrance. Optionally, show the display board on a screen near the counters.
Staff use the dashboard on the counter computer or their phone.
